It certainly looks like LG is not willing to "rest on its laurels" regarding its recent success with the LG Optimus G and the Nexus 4. A new pic and specs have just leaked for their next device, the LG Optimus G Pro. For the most part this looks like an enhanced version of the Optimus G... more of a product refresh than a full-fledged follow-up. Still, the specs are fairly "spectacular." Here's the breakdown:
  • 5-inch 1,920 x 1,080 display
  • 1.7Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064
  • 2GB RAM
  • 32GB Storage Memory
  • LTE
  • 3,000mAh battery
  • 160 grams and measuring 139 x 70 x 10.1mm
  • Jelly Bean
  • 13-megapixel rear camera
  • 2.4-megapixel Front
The only sad thing about this device (for most of the globe) is that it will likely only be going to Asian markets, and it may be Japan only. Then again, it's possible that will simply be the first launch pad for this product, and we might see more of it at MWC next month. We will keep you in the loop.

Definitely liking the battery specs. Odds are VZ will let this one sail by as well.

This looks more like the iPhone than the Sammy products did. Most likely not going to come to U.S. markets were it will be subject to a Lawsuit b/c this will sell well if it does come to the U.S.

Wouldn't it make better sense to bring it then. Make some money as opposed to none?

Could Apple not sue LG in asian markets or something?

Yea, great specs. Hopefull LG has improved their cameras so that they are on par with Samsung & HTC. That is one area that holds them (& Motorola) back.

nice battery! finally another manufacturer with some sense that battery is the MOST important factor.

Don't know about most important. I'd take the DNA over the Optimus G because of the processor and camera issues that it has.

Definitely liking the potential this has though. The better the offerings, the more other manufacturers will step their game up.
