September’s shaping up to be one insane month. Nokia announced their new Windows Phone 8 smartphones, Apple announced the iPhone 5 yesterday. Then there’s HTC’s press conference on the 19th, which is also the same day LG and Qualcomm will be having their own event.

The PR invite :

LG and Qualcomm cordially invite you Live Without Boundaries. This exclusive event takes place on September 19 at [REDACTED], where you will receive a first-hand look at an upcoming LG smartphone. LG and Qualcomm executives will be on hand to show off the device and discuss how this partnership is taking both companies to new heights.

LG sent out invites to US blogs, and they’re expected to reveal the Optimus G which they’ve been teasing a lot lately. The phone has already been officially announced, with a 4.7 inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 13 Megapixel camera, but LG might want to announce US carrier versions maybe? The fact that Qualcomm is mentioned is a bit of a giveaway since the Optimus G will feature the company’s new Snapdragon S4 processor.

So, who's excited for the new LG phone besides me?

NICE> Working directly with Qualcomm gives me hope for a solid phone. Edge-to-edge LG display will surely be nice too

I haven't seen a LG phone that looks worth wanting...maybe they can change my mind. I remember when the Dare came out and everyone(me too) was so amazed by the all touch screen. Maybe they can bring that desire back.

You must be asleep if this puppy doesn't get you going. :happy3: I haven't been excited about an LG device since my old flip phone and then my V, but this one is at the top of my list as of now.
