As you can see from the pic above, there is a distinct probability that LG will soon jump on the same "bling" bandwagon with its G2 flagship that Apple did with the iPhone 5S and HTC did with the HTC One. According to the e-tailer ePrice, sometime soon in Taiwan a gold-colored G2 will become available to consumers. Prices for the newly gilded G2 will not be any different than the black and white versions. They should be sticking with a $496 (14,900 TWD) price for the 16GB model, and $562 (16,900 TWD) for the 32GB model.
Since there has been no official announcement, there's obviously no word on a timeframe, or if it will come to any other market besides Taiwan. Sometime in early 2014, we expect LG to release their LG G3, so we don't expect this device to draw too much attention. Especially since the aesthetics of this gold-colored version don't really add much to the look of the device. We will keep an eye out and bring you more info once it materializes.
