Light During Call

When I'm on a call, and need to enter a number, like a credit card, etc, my light will go off. I know when I move the phone away from my face, the backlight will turn on - but what if you have the phone on speaker? Then it's already not up to your face.

I also try to hit the power button, thinking it will turn the light on - but then I end up hanging up. Any suggestions?

If you look at the screen... In the upper left corner there is a little round proximity censor. Put your finger over it and then remove it. The screen will light up again.
