And it was damn painful!!! But, with the custom roms, from a personal standpoint, it just didn't seem stable to me sometimes. Sometimes I wouldn't receive calls, my pictures wouldn't save, didn't receive emails. Now I am aware that this is probably just me, but I wanted live wallpapers as well, and now that 2.1 has it, I have gone back to the dark side.

I'm almost positive once someone figures out how to root 2.1, I'll be back.

I'd think about derooting if stock 2.1 would allow my to run 1 GHZ +

Love how smooth and responsive overclocking is, and as I've said my Droid runs cooler now.

Haha, ye aI had my fair share of sloppiness with roms, but FINALLY got one thats running was smooth with hardly any complaints. I dont plan on unrooting for 2.1 because I have it all in my opinion... well see.

Also in your profile where it says phone, that's asking for what kind of phone you have, not for your phone number.

You realize everyone who views this forum can see your phone number, right?

OKso everybody call bitter and tell him not to unroot!!!!
Just joking, but u should remove your number buddy.

Dang, I didn't know that was there, thanks guys.

Maybe I wanted random calls/texts.

I'm gonna stay rooted on Petes Bubles Beast 2.1 and just wait for him to get a offcial 2.1 rom lol but im happy with what I have now

no, its not like MANY you are one of the FEW who unrooted for 2.1. we have had ESE53 for a few weeks now. why unroot when you already had 2.1 before the unrooted OTA guys.

That has been there since I signed up here, though.

I unrooted for 2.1. A friend of mine is unrooting for 2.1. I'm sure there are many others. I plan to root for OC and Tether but I'm done with custom roms for a while.

Why is anyone unrooting now? Over the next 48 hours...about what, 2% of droid owners will get an update?
