Listing of files by filename is weird

I loaded an mp3 audiobook onto my sdcard and I don't understand how the droid lists the names. The structure of the names is Chapter 1 - Disc 1-01, and instead of the next track listed to play being Chapter 1 - Disc 1-02, the next track that plays is Chapter 1 - Disc 2-01. From looking at the list, it appears the listing is chronologically from the right to left instead of left to right. Is this a known issue? If so, is there a way around it?
