Lock screen won't stay up

When I turn the screen on and of the default lock screen will flash on for a
Second then disappear taking me to the home screen. Any ideas on how to fix it?

guys this was happening to me then i realized why...ur gonna feel dumb like me its NOT an error its actually a pretty cool feature in the bionic...goto settings where u set up your lock screen youll see an option for security time or something...i thought this meant if u lock out how long till u can re type/swype the lock code/pattern but its not....its the time between screen shut off and lock screen activation...set mine to a minute now if i lock my screen n its off for a min the lock screen will appear stock was 20min...set it for none for everytime but i like that if i turn it off n turn it right back no lockscreen comes up yet....thank me later

Im talking about the default lock screen not the passcode lock screens. I just did a factory reset and hot it back to normal
