Is there a way to change the Lock Unlock Screen?

You can search in the forums for "myLock". It's an app that bypasses the lock screen. Not in the Market yet. Download is available on developers website.

I believe it's called "Lockbot", and it's in the Market, allow for customized lock screens.

No root required for either.
