Locking GPS in "On" position

Is there any way to lock the GPS in the ON position ... My kid has a Droid X2 and I need the GPS turned ON so I can keep track of him.. He keeps turning it off//

I don't think there is a way to lock it if someone wants to turn it off.

Using something like AppLock may work by password-protecting the settings. I use a combination of that, Bitdefender AV & Parental Controls, and Screen Time on my daughters phone.

They can still FDR the phone and get rid of it all though.
