Lockscreen Questions?

Just got my S4 and before I had a Jailbroken iPhone 5, I'm wondering if there's a way to do some things like I used to on the iPhone.

1) How do I add widgets to my lockscreen? - all I have is my music when my headphones are in
2) When I get a text message, it shows up as "Message" on my screen. Is there a way to see who sent it? Like show the contact name instead of "Message"

WidgetLocker is a great option, very customizable.

If you're wanting to stick with the stock lockscreen, go into settings > my device > lockscreen > check "Multiple widgets" (or whatever the wording is). Then, once you're in the lockscreen, you can swipe left or right to add various widgets, like stock 4.2+ Jelly Bean.

On the messages, there should be an option within the messaging app's settings for privacy or not - it sounds like you have it enabled. Don't have the phone in front of me right now, obviously...

AS for your second question, I use "SMS Popup"(play store) to see who texts as well as options to reply, close, etc. Be sure to uncheck notifications in settings of your stock messaging app or else you'll get double notifications.

You can also try dashclock widget, I think It only works on 4.2+.
