Looking for a dev to create an app for small business

Hi, everyone. I am wanting to hire a developer to develop an Android App for a small business that my brother and I own. If this is against thread rules, please delete and PM me what I should have done, but read the sticky and didn't see anything against it.

We have a website that college students at a major university can order convenience store style items (drinks, snacks, smokes, etc) and have them delivered on demand. We have a MySQL database that contains all the items we deliver, and would like to be able to search the database by name or by scanning a UPC and be able to access the information about that item, mainly the amount we have in stock.

I would also like to be able to query the database for particulars such as: all items < x amount.

I can explain in more detail if needed, but thought I would just post it and see if there is any interest in building. I am looking to take bids right now, just to gather how much something like this would cost us.

Thanks

Do you want two versions of this app? One for the owners and one for students?

Also when would you want it completed by? and how much are you looking to spend?

Thanks for your reply. Right now, only looking for an app for us and our employees. What I would like to do is be able to scan a UPC and have the app access our DB and tell me how many of that item we have in stock. As mentioned before, I would also like to be able to run a query and find all items of which we are low on stock.

AFA time and price, we are flexible. Busy season won't be starting up until the end of August, so still have over a month. My hope is that allowing this much time allows a dev to work on it slowly, thus lowering the price. How much the app can do also determines how much we are willing to pay.

Any other questions, please LMK. Thanks for your interest.
