Looking for: Waypoint mark / Distance Tool

I've been looking for a while, and trying a lot of apps - basically want something that can do this:

1. Save a waypoint at my current position
2. tell me how far (straight line, in feet) a waypoint is from my position
3. be able to select from a list the waypoint used in #2
a map would be nice, online of offline doesn't matter


I want to walk to some points, mark waypoints, go to another spot and measure how far I am from the points I marked earlier.

Anyone know of something that can do this? Most I've tried won't save multiple points, or use units that are too large (miles or km)

Have you tried back country navigator pro. Not sure if it gives measurements in less than miles, but you can create as many waypoints as you want. You can also cut sections of map to download so you don't always have to have data connection.

I just installed that this morning. Noticed I can save my position as a waypoint and have a list of them. I'll have to try later and see of it'll measure on feet. My project has a Max distance between 2000 and 3000 feet
