Looking To Buy A laptop

After I graduate from High Scchool this year in May i will be looking to buy a laptop for college. But i dont know too much about them so I need some help. Who makes the best laptop? HP or sony?

Some features that important to me are:

1. High Performance
2. 1080p 3D screen
3. Battery life
4. Styling
5. Price range is $2,000 - $2,500 max
6. No macs!

mac does not offer a 3D screen in any of their products.



Personally if i were you i would look into the HP Envy 17" 3D.... i think this is the only 3D laptop offered by HP

ive had a few Sony laptops and every one has been a trainwreck
