looking to edit .js files

Hi, Im looking for an app which will allow me to open .js files and edit them.
Preferably using an ftp app to modify files on my server. I have an ftp app
so i could d/l the file, edit and reupload. Any help on this would be appreciated. Editing .html files as txt would be nice too. i would prefer not to have to rename .js to .txt thanks
