Looping Bootload

So my friend got easy root to root his phone. Flashed clockwork but it didn't take.. tried to flash UD 6.0.1 red glass theme and now it wont just keeps loading then repeating.. His recovery doesn't have the option to restore/backup... does anyone have a file i can run as a update.zip without having to allow .zip to restore it?Thanks in advance

Thanks... so update.. I tried doing command prompt using Android Commander. [TOOL] Android Commander 0.7.9.7 - Froyo Ready! - xda-developers(awesome Program) I got it to read the card 1 time with in 3hours of trying.

Does anyone think if I use an official update, I can at least get his phone working again? This is mostly annoying because I leave town for a week and a half so I can't help him after 10am Pacific time..
