Loose Headphone Jack

So I love my droid hands down awesome phone. I have a small question/ problem I was wondering about. I received my new droid 12/28/09. I noticed my headphone jack is loose, or wobbles enough to cause concern. All others who have had this problem say it leads to static and bad connection then gives out. I'm not getting the interference yet but was wondering if I should send it back and try to get a new one with no loose connection since I'm still within the 30 day grace period? And will Verizon do you think still go good for a new phone if I have no static yet?
