Loose usb charger port

I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but when I plugged my droid in last night I noticed the charging cable was not very snug and had a lot of wiggle room on the phone's port. It actually appeared that the metal rails that hold it in place were a little bent.


However, I took the phone into Verizon and they replaced it with no questions asked. Just an FYI to anyone that is experiencing this problem as well.:greendroid:

first droid had this problem, lost that one soemhow, and my second one is ever worse. i cant even pickup my phone without the wire falling out =[

Take is to a corporate VZW store. They will FRU out your device for you and give you a new one (for free!).

yeah i might do that. sucks though, since my phone is rooted overclocked and all the other goodies =[
