Losing business calls

Gee, one thing I do miss with this D2 phone vs. the old Motorola E815 I had is the "beeping" every couple of minutes telling me that I have a voice mail. I use my phone with my business and have to remember to check for voice mails often. Certainly Motorola/Verizon/whomever can come up with something to help with this. I'm not aware of any apps that would apply to this. Any suggestions please? Thanks, David
