losing data when data switches between LTE and 3G

I've been having this problem probably once a day since I've gotten the phone where my phone will lose data signal while switching between 3G and LTE and the only way to get data back is to restart the phone. Turning airplane mode on and off won't work either.

I live on a fringe zone and don't have that issue with this phone. Check out a thread on here by jntdroid about how to set your phone up for EVDO 3G connection and make sure yours is NOT set up like that. Aside from that there is an option in the menu under wireless and network that says something like constant on data, make sure it is checked. If neither of those takes care of it, call HTC support or VZ support and get a refurb
