I thought I saw something awhile back about Verizon or Moto replacing for free since its a know problem. I had it happen the third day I had mine and paid $4.99 for Verizon to send me one. They did send it 2 day FedEx.
just dont put that you lost it, say you have fitment issues and im sure they will send you one. they responded to me within a day saying that they was shipping it out via fedex.
