Lost contacts

I seem to have lost all my AIM and Yahoo contacts after the last update. They used to appear linked in my contact list and also on the home screen of my Instant IM that is standard with thunderbolt. Did anyone else experience this and how do u get them back? I have tried manually syncing but it just flashes momentarily and doesnt actually sync. I also removed both accounts and readded them...still nothing. Help!

Ok so i removed the accounts then did a hard reboot. When i turned the phone back on and added the accounts all my contacts came back. Problem solved...whew. wish i thoughtif that before.
