Lost haptic feedback w/2.2

I have no feedback when using onscreen keyboard since i manually updated to 2.2..... Yes its turned on in settings, so is there anything else to check??
(not rooted just manually installed Froyo nothing else)

Having the same problem. I'm on rooted FRG22.

Anyone know how to fix it?
