Lost my pictures from my gallery

I seem to have lost all of my saved pictures and video from my Gallery, I had 44 pics and they have disappeared. I took a new pic today, went into the gallery to view and only the pic that I just took was there. Does anyone know how I can retrieve them?.

They should be on your SD card. If you have a file manager app (Astro) open the app, scroll down to the DCIM folder and tap. The photos you took should be there.

Thanks for responding! Can you tell me where the SD card is? I don't have a file manager app down loaded. Guess I'll do that next.

Astro is a free app and can be downloaded via the market. Another option. Connect (mount) your Droid to your computer. The files you see by either process are on your SD card.

I've had this happen on occasion. I just reboot and they are there.
