im looking for a hdmi cable for my droid 4 but theres type d and type A connections..
are they all the same if they say micro? and theres no difference?

I'm not familiar with any different types as those. I got two standard HDMI-to-micoHDMI cables and both worked great with my Xoom before.

That's the one you need. Type A is the standard HDMI connector for the TV and D is the micro connector that your phone uses. HDMI to micro HDMI is the same as saying type A to type D.

The smaller phone screen hides imperfections in the video because pixels are more closely packed together. The video is the same, you just don't notice on the phone screen.
