Did you recently update via OTA (over the air update) and you changed your system version? Are you getting a specific error message - su binary outdated or anything to that nature?

Usually root is lost when you upgrade from one system version to another...

i dpnt know what happen. yesterday went went to memphis,tn and i saw that i had 4g. where i live i cant get nothing but 3g. i was having problem running the rooted apps so i did a root test and it said that i wasnt rooted anymore. i tried to root it again and it wont even find my phone. i still new at this stuff. i have restored my phone back to stock and it still wont let me root it.:frown:
Well have have tried to reroot it and the one click root said that it is rooted but when i run the root test. It still saying that it not rooted

What system version are you on .902? I lost root on my phone also about a week ago. I'm not sure how but I was able to reroot.

Rooted running Eclipse 2.2

If somehow you're still on 893 and not rooted root via rota893 and you're golden for good. If you're on 902 and not rooted root via motofail and good for keeps also

z4root hasn't worked on Motorola phones for quite awhile now. You need to download the RazrUtility 1.6 (found next door in the Hacks forum) and use that to root your .181.
