lost text messages

DROID spontaneously lost all my MMS/SMS messages....evidently this is a known bug (as far as users go)...Verizon nor Google acknowledge this issue.

No way to predict when the bug will strike...no way to prevent and no way to retrieve the messages.

This is BS!

Happened to me Saturday night....There are a lot of things that need little tweaks, hopefully they'll be covered in the update whenever it is going to come out.

i was in verizon today to talk with them about a problem i was having with my other phone, so i asked him when the update for 2.1 would come out... and he said that he had no idea when because he hadn't received an email about it...... so i hope it is soon so i can get my droid in a week......
