lots of force close and phone loops back to 1/13/13 when rebooted.

I downloaded a app called music paradise. the phone tells me that it may be infected. all programs update upon turning the phone on. I have tried the factory reset both when the phone is on and the external method and the phone will not reset. It is currently an unlocked phone on a straighttalk calling plan. Today I ran the phone in safe mode and deleted all apps that were downloaded and when the phone rebooted all apps were back. Please advise on how to wipe the phone and still be in the unlocked status. I spoke with motorola and they said that if they pushed it to reset that it may not be unlocked after that. I am willing to do whatever needed. Thanks in advance for assistance.
