Although I love my droid, I have to admit I do Miss the games on my Itouch. Are there any really cool games out there?

I miss the landing strip, and adult swim's ametuer surgeon. Not to mention POCKET GOD. I am having withdrawls.....

I sold my Itouch so I cant even sneak over to the Itouch....

Thanks:icon_eek:

You have the "oid"s (NES, SNES, GBA, Genesis) to play ROMs. Doesn't get better than that :icon_ banana::icon_ banana::icon_ banana::icon_ banana:

Pretend you want an original Nintendo emulator

Download an emulator from the marketplace... (NESoid)
Then to make things easier on your computer go to a website like
TheOldComputer.com
FreeRoms.com
Download the games you want. Sync your phone and computer, drop the roms in to a folder.
Open emulator and click on the rom you want... you can keep them in a .zip file for Nintendo and still play. For other consoles like Sega or Super Nintendo, I believe you have to unzip them...others can enlighten you with those consoles.

I dislike 99% of mobile games on all devices including iPhone and other gaming devices... so I am biased...but nothing beats the classic/vintage games of NES, SNES, Sega, etc.

(In the emulator you can change game controls from on-screen to physical keyboard...you can play it normal or put it upside down if you want the directional pad on the left hand side. Depends on the game because the D-Pad does not support diagonal movement.)

are they planning to get better games in the marketplace cause the droid can handle whatever the iphone can handle, well i guess once we get flash we can play flash games!!!

i use the doperoms website. though it should be mentioned that this IS pirate material and if you are going to download stuff from these sites, you SHOULD only be downloading games that you OWN. having said that... i haven't unzipped any of the roms for any of the emulators and they all work without doing so. just FYI

the only game i'm sad that the droid doesn't have that the itouch/iphone does is the assassin's creed game. oh sure, it's in the android market, but it is NOT the same..
