LOW MEMORY SPACE icon - Incredible

What can I do to get rid of this "low space" icon? I've tried deleting apps & have put every app that will go to my 16G SD card there. When I checked the space of my memory I have more than 1/2 of all (phone, internal & SD) I don't get it! Someone PLEASE HELP!! It was doing this before I rooted it. This problem is the reason I rooted it. It stopped do a couple months but then started up again. Recently it wouldn't let me open up my sms. PLEASE SHED SOME LIGHT on this!!

Did you figure it out? My Droid1 has the problem today and even after deleting cache, moving new app to SD card, turning off then on, keyboard reset (shift & alt & del), bat pull... still there..

YES! FINALLY I'VE FIGURED IT OUT! IN YOUR SETTINGS YOU CAN DO A FACTORY RESET. THAT WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE SO.MAKE SURE YOU'VE BACKED EVERYTHING UP. IE: GOOGLE OR COMPUTER AND TAKE OUT YOUR MEM CARD B4 DOING THE RESET. GOOD LUCK
