Make cellphone call from Google Voice number?

I would like to make occasional calls from my Google voice phone number. I know there is a setting that allows me to make every call from the GV number and another setting that asks me every time whether I do or don't. Is there another way to make an occasional call form my GV number? I really don't want the hassle of being asked every time if I want to use my GV number. I only want to use the GV number for about 5% of my phone calls. TIA!
