Making QR barcode for your contact info?

Thanks for the snobby attitudes but Google searches don't help at all for making a Contact QR.

Select a contact from the Contacts app, hit the Menu key, Share, Barcode Scanner. Or, open the Barcode Scanner App, press the Menu key, Share, select the content you would like to share.

creating QR Barcode VCards from Droid does not work

I've followed the directions for this, but nothing happens when I select the contact I want to create the barcode for. Can anyone help with this?

I'm having the same problem with barcode scanner. I select the contact and it goes back to the previous screen. I know I can do it online but the app should do it for me without me inputing the information. Any suggestions?

Aer you sure you are doing it right? Works fine for me. Hit CONTACTS > Find Contact. Click it so it opens up and you can see the info. Hit the MENU key. Share. Barcode Scanner.
