making website shortcuts

On my computer, I can access a website and then create a shortcut to that website so I just need to click the icon to go to the website. Can I do this on the Verizon Droid and if so, how? Thank you.

bookmark the website then long press on the home screen go to shortcuts then go to bookmarks and select your bookmark

After you add the bookmark to the phones home/desktop, you can delete it from the browser.

You can put things in folders too, by they way, in case you have a lot of bookmarks.
