Mark Pigg was allegedly seated next to a Moto rep on his flight home from CES. He got a closeup look at the XOOM and Honeycomb beyond what was shown at CES itself, and while he didn't get a true "Hands on" with the device, it's still a better look than what anyone else has seen so far.

He says he saw a tablet optimized version of Angry Birds for Android and a 1080p video playback that was "Jawdroppingly good." He also heard from the Moto rep that Honeycomb is only 50% complete, which means Google has some work ahead of them in order to get a polished OS finished soon if they plan on releasing in Q1, but he also said that Honeycomb has a few surprises that have yet to be revealed. dancedroid
