The upcoming 5.1 OTA has already been pulled and uploaded! You do not have to wait till the official roll out tomorrow you can actually install it manually right now! To install this update simply grab the file from the link below and follow the simple instructions.

1. Download the 5.1 OTA
2. Power Down Phone
3. Boot into Bootloader mode (Power+Volume Down)
4. Select recovery using volume to scroll and power button to select
5. When you see Android on back hold volume up and then press the power button
6. Select apply update from sdcard
7. find and select the OTA file (probably in your download folder)
8. the update will begin to install It may take a few minutes.
9. Enjoy

This will not work if you are rooted you will have to do a factory reset. You need to totally restore your device to stock and then it will work.

I just installed the OTA from this method and worked great. The phone seems a lot snappier. Will continue to monitor.

I just want to further make everyone aware that if you've already paid for, downloaded and installed MOFOROOT in order to root your Motorola Droid Turbo, and then have installed the custom ROM, not only will you have to flash the phone back to stock, but you will be UNABLE to reattain root. There is no known method as of yet to root Lollipop.

Proceed at your own risk, or if you're like me and you have root and have flashed a custom ROM like the one I did that gives me FREE Wireless Tether, DO NOT either take the OTA or download and install the side-loaded version mentioned above.
