Market/Better Keyboard Problem

I used to use Better Keyboard. Recently, I tried to download an update that failed. At the time I was using the HTC keyboard. I didn't care that the download failed since I was no longer using it. I recently started using Swype.

Today, I noticed that Better Keyboard is always in my Market downloads. When I try to cancel the download, it force closes the Market.

I tried uninstalling Better Keyboard, but it still shows up in the downloads. Even after rebooting the phone, it still shows up. The download now never finishes if I let it run, and force closes the Market if I try to cancel the download.

Any ideas how to fix this issue?

I had a similar problem with Titanium backup, it wouldn't finish the download and would FC market if I tried to cancel.

Try wiping your market data/cache (settings > applications > all applications > Market > wipe data). If that doesn't work, a full wipe should do the trick.
