market/downloader problem plz help!

ok so... i am trying to update lookout and dropbox
but the first few times it said it was unsuccessfull
than all the sudden my notification bar starts filling with DL's for those 2...
i cant stop them, i uninstalled the apps and it didnt help

does anyone know how to fix this? it currently has 42 DL's open and runnin my temp up to 120 on power up...

Ok I can fix it for u!!! Plug your phone to a computer and open your to find what's in your SD card. Under...SD card and then look under androidsecure. U will find a file named smdl2tmp1....Delete this file. Will work once u delete the file. It's corrupt. I just fixed mine! It works but u have to use a computer. Astro or any other folder won't let u se it

ok i see the folder but i dont see a file named that under it

sees to have worked, went from 40 something to 30 almost instantly
now we r down to 18 it seems as each one "finishes" it just falls into oblivion,
and my heat problem is gone too!

It doesn't necessarily have to be under that folder. Look for the name of the folder under any other folder. You HAVE to plug the phone to a computer. Astro or any other app won't find it for u. Believe me and plug it

that fixed it actualy
had to sit and wait for al 42 to "finish" but as they did they dissapeared instead of duplicating
