Marking locations on map / a new voice?

Is it possible to mark locations on the map for future reference? I didn't see a way to save them. Also, was wondering if anyone had any idea if we can change the voice somehow.. she is a bit... basic =/

I haven't found a way to save them Droid. Which is a little annoying.

You can save things to Google Maps online though. If you save something to "My Maps" it will be available as a layer while you're using the maps app on the Droid.

only other way other than making a google map, is making it a contact and saving the postal address for access later

Google NAV doesn't support voice changes yet. You're stuck with her. The development site for NAV does have it listed as a feature/functionality request. You can also google around for this one as there are articles written about "what's with the voice!"

There is a My Maps Editor in the market that allows you to edit maps and save locations directly from your phone. Then you can add those saved maps to your layers in the maps/nav app. Not sure why they did not integrate both together.
