If you have updated some of your google apps as of late you will notice a new layout which is what Google coin as Material Design. The look is suppose add more consistency across the board. As of now the following apps (at least as far as what has been updated on my device) is rocking the new material design look: Chrome Beta, Google Play Store, Google Music, and Google Movies with Gmail and Calendar expected to be updated soon.

Google Music didn't have an update for me? Looks the same as always. I dig the new store and Chrome Beta, though.
