Nikecar was trying to be helpful by letting you know that there is a discussion about this topic in another thread and he gave you the link so that you could easily check it out because, most likely, you would find that discussion interesting. It is common for there to be several threads on the same topic and we do love interesting news like you posted. We want this news. But when there is more than one thread on the same topic (it happens all the time), members will politely let you know by giving you the link to that topic. That way you can join in the conversation and see what others are saying about it. In addition, many times when there is more than one thread on the same topic, a moderator will move the thread to where the topic is already being discussed or close one thread while directing everyone to the other one. This way everyone can join the conversation in one place. His post was not meant to offend you but meant to be helpful.

Sometimes, folks dont look at the rest of the site and see the news and just focus on the forum only about their phone. Ive been here a couple years and its only been the last few months Ive started to look at other parts of this community. So sometimes "old" news is "new" news to people. :biggrin:
 
I agree! I do it all the time. It takes a bit of time to get to know everything this forum has to offer and to know your way around it.
