Media volume not turning up

I went to bed last night with Pandora running like I always do.
I woke up this morning, clicked the "I'm still listening" button and then turned off Pandora before it could start playing and went about my day as normal.
I decided to listen to a YouTube video to discover my media volume won't turn up, no matter how I do it. It's on silent, and the bar is faded a bit, and doesn't let me raise the volume.

And just like that it's working again on it's own, so I apologize, apparently I needn't any help.
