Meet the new Amazon Fire HD 8

Today, Amazon has announced the new Fire HD 8 today which features an always on Alexa listening for commands. The new tablet also offers a newer 2-megapixel front camera that promises 720p video chats, 1,280 x 800 screen, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 2-megapixel rear cam. The 2018 Fire HD 8 will ship on October 4th and starts at $80 for the 16gb model. This isn't the most exciting tablet announcement from Amazon, but the always on Alexa feature will be a welcomed addition for some people.
