Merging contacts?

Is there a way to link contacts that didn't sync properly like in the stock ROM?

1) From contacts select the contact you wish to link
2) Press menu button and select edit
3) From the Edit Contact screen, press the menu button again and select join.
4) This will prompt you to select an alternate contact to link 1st contacts information to. Scroll through your contacts and select the appropriate contact, usually it will be in the list of suggestions.
