messages to wrong people

Has anyone ever experienced your text messages going to the wrong contact?

Its only happened to me twice... once a couple months ago and again last week.
Ill be texting fine all day long, I send a text and I get a reply from another contact asking me what I'm talking about. I go into my messaging app and the text message appears in the proper contacts thread and no record of the person who actually received the message.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Handcent did that to me 3 times.

Yeah handcent never did it when I used it but I've since switched to the default it has done that a few times on me.

You have to pay attention to the picture above the text.

Yes. It happens to me and I was wondering if it was a problem with handcent. It did show the person it was supposed to go to but it went to someone else. Maybe uninstall and reinstall?

happened to me once too, with handsent it had the right persons name just went to the wrong person

Do you think Chompsms is better than Handcent?

I've had this happen with the stock application. The picture and name is different, but the previous text messages are the same. This could create very embarrassing situation.

I've also called the wrong person if I hit their name on the call log instead of contacts, hit my mothers name on the call log and it called my brother.
