Messaging SMS/MMS issues not sending?

I have handcent along with the stock messaging system. I can send a text no issue, when I forward a image message it keeps spinning but never sends in both apps. Any ideas? It worked when I first got it but recently had this issue.

Have you reset your phone since this problem occurred (turn on/off)? If you haven't try doing that and see if it helps. Also if the file is too large it may be an issue as well.

I power cycled my phone the message is only 6KB and still doesn't work.

maybe 3G and GPRS has been turned off by some software.

How can I confirm that is turned off? I also noticed that when I recieve a message to DL it won't open unless the person sends it twice.

Had a similar problem yesterday. Could not send SMS, as a reply only. I had to delete the thread and send as a new message, to get it to go.

It sucks thatI have to send the sender a text stating to resend the SMS/MMS message and the photo that they send are only 6kb.

I too have had this problem, it will send text messages but not pics. I tried the stock app, I tried Handcent, and I tried chomp.

What I have found is that wifi has to be off, and 3G has to be on (sometimes) and if it doens't send with 3G off, I have to turn it on and try again.

Now what difference does it make if wifi is on or off and 3G is on or off?? What does that have to do with sending a pic message?

Be kind, I am way too technologically inept to have one of these smart phones.
