Here is how to do it!

1. Install the Motorola Software Updater here:
Motorola - MILESTONE - Mobile Phone Software Update - Motorola Deutschland

2. Connect the phone:
Set the USB connection to "Motorola Phone tools"

3. Run the moto software updater

4. just click proceed! the software will tell you if an update is there and will install it automatically

Nice Tigger!! Thanks for posting the ROM for the other Milestone users as well!

Any improvements/thoughts on it so far?

I am in NYC. I checked my Droid info and it states that I have 2.0.1, but I didn't do anything to my phone :icon_eek:

What should I be noticing that is different?

Thanks :)

Congrats to all you Milestone users! It really should put things in perspective for those of us with a Droid. We are running around complaining about the 2.1 update when you guys are just getting 2.0.1. We also have the ability to use all these custom ROMS while the Milestone can't because it requires a signed kernel. No more complaining from me.

Ooops.... my bad

I was thinking 2.1 and got excited

I am confused. 2.01 came out in December...? no?
I am waiting for 2.1 (Nexus 1 OS)... is that anywhere close yet?

hey

you just now getting this update got mine in dec just wondering

Did any of the last couple of posters happen to notice that this thread is about the milestone, not the droid...? Considering that the word 'milestone' is in the title, I have to wonder.
