A new app from Koush the creator of a few of the most popular Mod apps like Clock Work Mod, Rom manager and the rest of the handful of apps that have helped him to buy a fleet of yachts. The new app "Mirror" will allow those lucky enough to have Android Lollipop on their devices to either record or screencast their screens to Google Chromecast. You can do this without root if on Lollipop. If you are on an earlier build you will still need to be rooted. You can also use this app to mirror your screen to Kindle Fire TV, Apple TV, and the Chrome browser. Head to the Play Link below for the download.

Via Play Store

This is great! Looking forward to the next version. Casts screen to Chrome without a hitch, but doesnt recognise chromecast for mirroring from my LG G3. Force closes immediately. Allcast runs videos to my chromecast just fine though.

I will check it with my S4 on the Chromecast when I get home tonight. Although I will note that no where in the description of the app did it say it was compatible with Chromecast, just Chrome.

Ah, yessir, you are correct. I was going by the OP here which refers to chromecast.

"The new app "Mirror" will allow those lucky enough to have Android Lollipop on their devices to either record or screencast their screens to Google Chromecast."

The whole OP is confusing now that im reading it again. You can cast if you're lucky enough to be on Lollipop. You can do this without root while on lollipop. if not on lolipop you need to be rooted. >> So you can do this with OR without lollipop. just need root? So even those that dont have lollipop can do it, but they aren't 'lucky'? LMAO

Damn you DroidModderX, lol

You also need allcast to use this with the Chromecast

I uninstalled it, reinstalled it. No luck. I have allcast. It works fine for chrome, it force closes for Chromecast for me.
No worries though, i understand its beta. Can't wait for it to work for me though
