Missed calls on notification bar

Can someone tell me how I can make all missed calls not show up on the notification bar?

not possible using settings on the phone.

In the past, if I specify that calls from a certain phone number go directly to voice mail, then it wouldn't always show up in the notification bar. So maybe if you set all incoming calls to go to voicemail without ringing, you might be able to avoid the notification bar icons. Not saying it's necessarily a practical solution...

None that I know of. Sending all calls directly to voicemail is the only potential workaround I've encountered.
