Missed calls or text notification?

If I don’t here the call ring or the text notification all my Droid 3 does is flash the light on the front. I can’t seem to find any settings for a reminder ring or tone every few minutes. Are there no settings for this?

There are no settings for this. There are a few apps on the, market to cover you though.

I believe one is 'missed call' and any other text messaging app will have the reminder option.
