Miui Backup-Rom section

Question if anybody knows is backing up my rom with Miui backup just boot me into CM to do a nandroid? or is it Miui's version of a Nandroid? and if so does it work good? what's the 411 on that?

The backup is separate and doesn't use clockwork. Seems to work just fine,doesn't have a lot of options though.

The backup uses your recovery software to create a backup, but you won't be able to flash the backup in recovery if you need it. That is why it is recommended to use clock work mod or spr for your backups.
