I like the idea of MixZing's recommendation system, but can't quite get it working the way I want. When I play a song and go to the recommendations, I see a list of what I currently have on my playlist, and all the recommendations each with a green plus or red X. What I expect is that I click the green plus to add it to the playlist, and the red X to remove it from suggestions. But instead, it seems to play them all unless I red X them...not very smart, what's the point of the green plus?
Also, is the recommendedation system using the network? I think it is, which may be a big battery drain. Does iTunes "Genius" do this too? I would think there would be a way to do song recommendations without connecting a network (just compare against your local library?), but I may be wrong...
